The topic for each month will be announced on
the website and in the newsletter.

What can you expect at Seacoast NOW meetings?
We examine topics that are informative and thought provoking: women’s history, reproductive rights,
welfare issues, sexual harassment in schools, violence against women, race discrimination, lesbian rights,
women’s health, state and federal legislation.
We take an active stand on local issues that affect New Hampshire women: Members participate in
planning and carrying out protests, rallies and letter-writing campaigns, advocate for individuals,
work to elect feminist, and take action on social and political issues.
We provide an opportunity for women to speak out and be heard: Every meeting includes time to
socialize, time to share our own experiences, and time to comment on issues that are important
to each of us individually.
We nurture and support the talents and gifts of all our members: educators, scientists, writers,
poets, lawyers, mothers, grandmothers, world travelers, healthcare workers, business women,
social providers, all women.
